it is not a clutch, there is a clutch on it, but it is over on the side that is not shown in the picture with the transmission, the transmission and clutch together is not much bigger than your hand

I have not agreed that what is shown in the picture has been correctly identified
what you have identified is not shown in the picture
as I stated previously, there is a clutch and transmission on it, but they are not shown in this picture

there is no electric motor
the stand would be an interesting technical win, but I'm pretty sure it's well enough implied that the stand is not the main focus of this picture

Interesting. (I just read the description).
There didn't seem to be enough scortching and the housing didn't seem thick enough for it to be anything really 'industrial' or heavy duty.

I suppose I learned something new. :p

yeah gotta love that there titanium
also the J34 is something that was designed in 1944 (if I remember correctly) and the ones in the pictures aren't much newer
modern gas turbine engines have a lot more to them
