Reminds me of when I was trying to explain fursuiting to someone recently and why it appeals to people. It's like playing pretend with a giant stuffed animal that you control with your whole body because you are the stuffing!

that is a really good description ! It pinpoints why I like it so much, it's like what you've always dreamed of as a kid; to get to BE the toys you played with, to control them totally and get as expressive as you want. I loved stuffed animals better than hard toys because you could manipulate them so much easier and were totally free to play out whatever you wanted! AND NOW, I love fursuits so much. Getting to crawl all up inside this adorable precious thing and BE adorable and precious.

Exactly! That's part of why I love fursuits. I've stopped thinking of them as mascot costumes and nowadays I put them more in the mindset that they're just another big toy! (Which makes conventions all the more fun because all I can think about is a bunch of adults playing with giant stuffed animals and skdfnjkdsfsda I love that)

And I definitely wanna try some plush stuff! I also wanna explore Alaska's pinata aspect more and draw her being stuffed with candy (although I am a little skeptical about making her too fetishized, but WEH CANDY AND PINATAS)
