*Does a little happy dance.... Metassus this one is for you. I was going through some old poems and re-found it. You old wolf... this picture so fits you - as does the poem. It's best if viewed full screen.

Love the conflicting emotions I get when traveling through your poem...it really is more like a journey of emotional realization than just a snapshot of one feeling. There's a very peaceful acceptance of "The End," but at the same time, almost a feeling of regret at the very thought of "The End," knowing your passion will go unfinished when the time comes. Love it.
"This is the end... my only friend, the end..."
this made me think very much of that rockin good song. i love the doors, good association there ^_^
good accepting of death/whatever comes after life. i hope i can meet him calmly, and in friendship. i dont wish him forced upon me, especially by others... but they would join me in taking his hand, should anyone threaten me or my loved ones...

The Executioner, the one knight in the service of The White King, who has the power to free other knights from their earthly bond. And thus, I have created an embodiment for the Death. Yup, pretty much like my Executioner.
Did you know that I have another "angle" of death in my prose too? Smallnose the Panther is sometimes titled as the slayer of The White King. His job description is much more grim, though, as he deals with the mortal critters who have crossed The White King. His "customers" aren't usually as willing to leave the world like the old knights who have grown bored and tired.

There's often double meanings in the names and titles I have given to my characters. I have told you what 'Osma' means for example. There are stories behind the names of other characters as well, names 'Grigori' or 'Aino' aren't just picked randomly. Also Grigori's peculiar chain/whip/hammer weapon's name, 'The Cat's Paw', has a double meaning. These are some things I would have covered in the meta-textual works/character sheets, if I ever had came to fully edit and upload them.
