One in a series of WIPs from my fantasy story that I've been sharing with you all for some time now. This comes from the lore of the world when, according to legend and religion, the gods created the world, they accidentally created the first two great, powerful races shortly after. One race, benign and autruistic, was born in grief (this guy and his kind). The other was born from the temper of one of the gods and scourged the world in a mindless conflict against the first born. The second born were sealed away by the gods while the third was left to wander until their lives finally expired. By the time the lesser mortal races came into existence most of the first born had died away, but those that remained taught a handful of the mortal races what they could in hopes that their guidance would persuade the future down a more pacifistic route. Norfrus was, according to all accounts, the last of the first born to pass and was esteemed by the Matordai as a god for the teachings he bestowed on them.
