From 2006.
Anthropomorphic ice dragon in a sunset glow, leaving on a journey and who knows when he'll return. Sort of a walkabout type journey.
In many ways this dragon represents me, much in the same way that Atelier before him also represents me. They both do.
I forgot to separate the pages of my sketchbook with a layer of board or bristol when I shaded this. I shaded it so strongly that it pressed through the next six pages of my sketchbook.
Crayola colored pencil and crayon, took a record 14 hours.
9x12", full-views at 75px/in.
