it's impossible for the admins to make everybody happy. What is and is not suggestive is entirely open to interpretation by EVERYONE. So no matter who the admin was, someone would be saying that they are pressing their views on what is and is not suggestive on the member of the site. So basically it's a lose lose situation for the admins cuz they can't make everyone happy, so cut them some slack.
Oh my, we really shouldn't go there. I don't know how long you've been around but...
Yes, it may be impossible to make everyone happy. However, there are loyal people whom have been around here for years, some of which have taken the backlash from problems they couldn't have possibly predicted. FA isn't a fetish site, it's an art site. Yes, there is fetish art but still... some people whom are into some of these things (aka furry, fursuiting, art)... aren't even interested in the sexual aspect. True, there are a lot of us that still like fetish type things, or porn, but that is personal.
What TK is describing is that someone took a photo or image out of context. Quite clearly, even if that were the case, or it was reviewed and deemed inappropriate... is that any reason to ban people or delete their photos without warning? No. That's just plain rude. They don't like being admins, maybe they should find something else to do with their time. I know from being an admin at other sites, it is a pain. But being rude to your members will kill your site. Try being diplomatic! (heavens forbid!)
Furthermore, the admins should be accountable for their actions as well. It's just good practice to follow the rules you set for others. Making it arbitrary is a whole different level. Besides, banning/deleting persons/images on a whim doesn't seem like good publicity for an art site. I'm sure there are hard choices but the users shouldn't have to fear harassment or retaliatory action from the staff. Especially not over such a minor infraction, if it even could be considered as such.

Perhaps there are factors we are unaware of. Perhaps the admins are receiving some sort of trouble form some site, maybe paypal or something, and are paranoid about the submissions, and in their minds, they believe they are being cautious by removing them asap. I'm just trying to think of any reason they could be doing this before jumping to saying the admins are assholes. They must have a reason for doing this. In my experience, whenever someone claimed another person was an asshole, it always turned out they had a good reason for doing what they were doing and the other person wasn't looking at the entire situation.
That's true too, but it is confusing to figure out. I think there is a lot going on in our community, but perhaps the situation will change. It is just worrisome because it feels like the community has been coming apart at the seams for years. It makes it very intimidating for newcomers, without which... we will eventually cease to be. I suppose that is why I'm so passionate about it.
If ridiculous things like this keep up, soon FA will be ForeverAlone.png
