Well, at least Sam is getting involved (thought it seems a bit unfair of her to focus on Sveti when it's really Vlad's fault), and Karl is finally standing up to his brother and defending Doug. Vlad may have a point, but he needs to remember freedom also means being free NOT to do something...like when there are extenuating circumstances that would make it a bad idea...

Cody's not use to getting drunk and is merle being a bit more (loose tongued) and a bit clumsy with body language than normal. And I think Doug is More blushing and grinning because he over heard Cody and uncle Vlads conversation and being the shy guy he is, embarrassed.

Because if it's the latter, then I'm fully in agreement with Mr. Frost and Sam. Doug deserves better than that, and Vlad wouldn't be helping. And I care a lot about Doug, enough where I want him to be happy but end up with a good man who will treat him right. And that's why I have to wonder if whether or not if Georgiy would perhaps be the one that might be a good match for Doug. He *does* look a bit like Cody, just not as lean and more adorkable.

Huh. So Sam really was shooting the patented Sam Death Glare at Sveti. Can't believe I speculated something rather accurately. Though Sveti was not difficult to miss as it is, she was making a speectacle of herself. Now I ponder what Sam wants to speak to her about. Perhaps she overheard stuff? The Todd thing, now Vladimir's desire for Doug. That would scream "big sister instinct" and "keep tiger away". We wait and see, then.

And you know, it's rather good to see Karl finally grow a pair and try to put a stop on his brother's behavior, especially because he's also thinking of Doug and not just Cody, which is really nice of him. At this point, though, it seems Karl and Doug never actually met, so... why not? Why should it matter if Cody and Doug are not together anymore? There's nothing wrong with going over and saying hi or anything. It would be nice for Cody's parents to get to meet his friends better, would it not?

And okay, whoa there, that's just odd. I don't know how long it's been, but it can't have been that long since Vladimir noticed Doug and this point, maybe just a couple minutes at most. Last we saw Cody, he seemed to be relatively sober and suddenly started showing the very first symptom of not dealing well with alcohol, and now he's suddenly drunk off his ass. No, no, no, metabolism does not work that way. I've worked in a bar for years and nobody goes from zero to wasted in the blink of an eye. Yeah, I know I'm nitpicking, but it's just so odd that I can't help but having to comment on it.

And so Vladimir finds it okay to still go for Doug after Cody says there was never any actual sex between them (still can't get over how bizarre that was). It's not like there aren't any other people he can pick up, but whatever, this guy's behavior doesn't surprise me anymore. And to make it worse, the drinks are spilled. Doug is blushing too. Who knows if it's because he overheard what they were talking about, or because he actually likes Vladimir, even though it seems to not fit with his tastes we've seen before... scratch that, he always went for big guys with bad attitude, never mind. I just really hope the spill was more catching Doug by surprise than Doug actually liking Vladimir, because if those two were to hook up for even a one night stand, that would be one mayor faux pas.
