So... this was my 'secret suit' for Anthrocon, even though I introduced his reference sheet quite a while back. :3 Is this the cutest thing you've ever seen, or what? He was finished very last minute, so there are a few things here and there that weren't perfect, but overall he came out very well (especially for how quickly he was made), and people seemed to really love him.
I really hope I can do some quick fix-ups for him and get some full-body shots and maybe some video to upload sometime soon. Until that time, this is a lovely picture by
lothaekor, a super-awesome photographer who has been kind enough to do our SavageTurtleStudios photoshoot for two years in a row now! I'm super grateful to him for taking those photos, because they always turn out amazing. :)

Do you know if this is good buckram for me to use? (: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUCKRAM-30-.....item564d318000
Honestly? I haven't a clue. Buckram is tricky. Without having it in hand and being able to look through it and test it, there's no telling the quality and visibility since it's so variable. At that low of a price, I'd say go ahead and buy it and see if it's any good.
To test it, color a portion of it black, and look through it through, like, a toilet paper roll (or a cupped hand or something--just make sure that it's not lit from behind, and the only light coming through is from through the buckram to your eye). If you can see through it without much trouble, it's good buckram. If you have any real trouble at all making out shapes or faces, don't use it. :) Hope that helps!
