A new character that i came up with whilst at university last week.

This is a rough sketch i did in 10 minutes whilst a lecturer was giving a talk on how to use to software.

Anyone who speaking or who can read german, may or may not have noticed that part of her name means "coal".

Name: Nikohle (kohle, German for Coal)
A.K.A.: Nicky, Sooty, Miner 69er
Species: Mole
Colour: Dark Grey
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Orientation: Lesbian (though she has been known to bed with male furs on the odd occasion)
Height: 4 foot, 1 inches


Background

Nikohle, though 19 in her specie's years, is more like 11 in normal age measurements. She is a long term friend of Glacia's and went to the same school as her when they were younger but lost contact with her a year ago, when she stopped attending school for an unknown reason. She knows that the teachers know something though because she saw the headmaster talking to Rusty just before her disappearance, which looked pretty serious.

Whilst Glacia was gone, Nikohle grew up wondering where she was and often turned to her female friends for comfort and reassurance, which eventually turned into very close bonds between them and is how she became a lesbian, having see what the guys her friends had done to them emotionally through their relationships, she decided that is was better to be with her own sex, who were more friendly and loving than the often cold hearted males.

Nikohle (present day, age 19) now runs a shop that sells precious stones and gems that she finds whilst digging underground, which has been quite successful up to now, making her a nice amount of money, which she keeps in a dark, oak chest about the size of a lunch box, that she was given as a birthday present by one of her elders. Glacia often refers to the it as Nikohle's "Dark Chest of Wonders" because when ever she looked into it, there was always beautiful diamonds or crystals in it, which mesmerised her.

One thing that she doesn't know, is that a reunion with Glacia is going to be sooner than she thinks


Likes:

Digging, wearing her protective goggles, being with female furs, being with a select group of male furs, something or someone that can make her digging and precious stone finding quicker and easier, making money from her treasures.

Dislikes:

bright lights, not being able to see, fruitless digging sessions, jewel thieves, hard undigable ground


Other distinctive features:

Although she prefers to dig with her claws, Nikohle sometimes turns to special digging tools to help her dig up hard ground. Doesn't trust male furs and has to be thoroughly convinced that they are worth trusting before she will even think about talking or even acknowledging them as a friend.
