I can't help but wonder, was the doll cursing him for ragging on the doll's chubby body ala Stephen King's Thinner, or did it just the bear's originally muscular build for itself?

Now that you put it that way, I guess its a mix of both situations, him finding some sort of cursed doll that steals a person's physique if provoked.

Something along those lines, I don't know I didn't really think too much of it when I drew it 9__9
