It didn't take a genius to figure out what had happened. He'd walked out of his dojo to the groaning and battered forms of some of his top students, a masked canine standing in the midst of them, hunched over one of the semi-conscious figures.
The dog straightened before the fox had a chance to say anything, not that it mattered; Surge was already in flight before realizing it, aiming a powerful kick square to the center of the kanji on the figure's back.
The blow didn't land, though the fox had anticipated this. Anyone who could take on so many of his students at once wouldn't be such a pushover. Landing in a crouch he spun and extended his leg, catching the mutt off-guard and flooring him, though he only stayed down for a moment before he rolled backwards into a handstand and sprang to his feet. Surge was on him before he could mount a counter-attack, a rapid-fire flurry of blows traded between the two fighters. The dog seemed to use some self-taught offshoot of kung fu, trading blow for blow with the dojo's sensei, growling his defiance to the fox's best efforts to hit him.
Surge frowned. Time to end this.
He knew his elbow would be blocked and repelled, the electro fox spinning on his heel and landing a spinning roundhouse square in the mutt's chest, sending him reeling backwards, but not without a fistful of the fox's gi clutched in his paw.
The blow crackled with the vulpine's latent energy, flowing into his target with the intention of incapacitating him, leaving the dog doubled over and clutching at his chest. Though with a grin and a brief flex he seemed to overcome the stunning blow, standing erect, his amber eyes glowing faintly. Surge took up a defensive stance, wincing slightly as he set his paw back on the ground.
Who was this guy? That felt like he'd hit solid concrete!
"Electricity, huh?" the mutt growled, craning his neck and rubbing a shoulder. "Good, I could use some exercise."

I think that should lead to the exact comment actually, lol.
Anyway! I decided to draw out what such an encounter might be like. Coming up with the story was almost as fun as drawing the picture to be honest!
