Any skill can be improved with perseverance including writing. I have seen people who used to love to do something give up because they get discouraged by people who are better than they are. I think if you truly love to do something you should do it no matter what else. I hate to see people abandon their talents rather than hone them.

Well I know you are so popular now and what not, that I dont really like bothering people for the sake of idle chitty chat,
I am working on both my writing and my career of being a cook so I guess honing my skills is practical there as I hone my knives, but yes no matter how hard it is, keep going, Just like Winston Chuchill said in WW2 "when you find yourself going through hell...keep going" A simple phrase but so very powerful in my eyes
