These particular wings have a wire base. No wire will ever touch your skin directly! If you look past the ribbons hanging down, you can see a sturdy wire loop. This wire loop slips in to an ace bandage, or a sturdy bra, wrapped around your chest. It is quite easy to slip in there with out help, so very easy to get set.
