This is the first pic in a long time that I was actually inspired to work on. I woke up yesterday in a real mood to play Pokemon, any version, and after a while that just wasn't enough I needed more. Then I started thinking about the pokefied meme I did a year ago and how much fun that was, and maybe I should do another pic with Kinkachu.
So I sought out to create a Pokemon trainer version of myself and have her partner be Kinkachu. The idea for the trainer really wasn't that hard to come up with. I knew for sure that I wanted dark chocolate brown and mint green since that's my favorite color combo, I just wasn't sure what style of clothes. Thankfully, I found an amazing trainer creator on dA that helped me narrow down the style.
Once I had the style, I had to figure out how I wanted her posed. I really hate pics like this though lol XD Where it's just the trainer standing there with their Pokemon, but when you're just introducing a character you really need a flat kinda pose with them.
I will probably end up doing more with these guys in the future, but not sure as to what yet. Whether it'll be just art or possibly fan fiction, who knows. x3

A trainer and pokemon like this? Oh yea sure I can do that. Whenever my commissions are open, you can ask for something like this. ^^
I've drawn a fair few in the past. It's just easier with reference images(like the outfit/items and if the pokemon has any special markings/items). But even a outfit like from the trainer creator with "but make this part longer, or take off the lines on the coat" or whatever can work too. ^^
