I’ve been playing a bit more with the Le Chat Enfer style in some doodles and figured out a few tricks for making it work well. So I decided I wanted to try another full image. Luckily, this was the next theme and it occurred to me that a grandfather clock would be very fitting for the style.

Yeah, I'm glad I did it. Since I only shaded the underside of the woodwork detail and not the left I decided to not bother with brown lines. Instead, the one place where it would have mattered (right at the top of the main window) I just didn't color the section black. I went back and forth on that idea, but I think it worked out. The brown line just didn't look good.
