Created for a little halloween contest run by a friend of mine that's now in it's fourth year. Peppermint and Ginger are old friends, two of the very first real furries I created back in my first year of college. Ever since I hooked up with  UniPrae I've been dying for an excuse to bring this couple back. When my muse was hand delivered the perfect plot, I simply had to write it.
Triskaidekaleon (litt. from the word Triskaidekalophobia, fear of the number 13) is a much newer character. He is, incarnate the idea that if you sew bad karma wherever you go, eventually, it will come back and bite you. Kali can't kill anyone, but he can make them suffer enough to make them wish they were dead. On the other hand, he can be very compasionate with people who really don't deserve being hit with bad luck, over and over again. The little bombshell at the end of this story was all his idea. I litterally didn't know about it until he told me.
