Guys. Guys. I really like this one. :O I decided to try some really saturated colors for this picture, since in most of my work I tend to desaturate everything until it becomes a big gray mess. And... holy crap, WHY have I been doing that!? These bright colors look way better in my opinion, and the lighting was way easier to do too. I'm definitely going to experiment more with this in the future.
As for the commission itself, Paddy asked for a smaller and more agile looking red fox, someone who was quiet and friendly but liked living healthily and really enjoyed nature. I suggested having him interacting with a tree and the commissioner seemed pleased with that idea, so here it is! I personally like the pose a lot, so I'm glad Paddy did too, hehe.
There is a ton more I could say about this piece since I did a lot of new things in it, but this is good enough for now. Hope you like it everyone!
