I have 2 passions. One is drawing. The other is cars.

I'd get it as a t-top - either white with black, or black with silver. I fell in love with that car when I first saw it.

I had a 92 Talon, and currently have an 86 300ZX. Neither were a turbo so I know how it feels to just have the base model. I love cars as a hobby but its so 'spensive. lol This spring I begin the search for a new project car though. Looking for a 96 Miata in red or black. I'd love to see some photos of your Celica; the last generation is rather radical and cool. =)
Awsome detail on the vehicle. Alot of folks have a hard time with technical drawing and/or organic, but it looks spot on, even if a bit short for tooniness. :) I so wanted a Celica a few years ago, but alas discontinued and difficult to get a hold of a GTS down here, So i wound up with its predecessor (according to Toyota) The tC. Anyway, kudos!
I have few complaints, although its only a year old. Paint is a little thin, needs a bit of a push in second gear. (My last was a V8, so I'm spoiled on acceleration.) But over all it handles very well, although you can tell they expect people to modify them. The full roof sunroof rocks, but sure makes you nervous in bad weather. :p
Layers layers layers!
I start out with the scan of the drawing as the background layer. Clean it up with the eraser tool. Then a new layer for the color. I use linear burn mode at 100% opacity for that. Next comes the shadows layer. I use multiply at 35%-49% opacity and pick a dark grayish blue for them. And then comes the highlight layers! Set to normal mode at 60% opacity with a whitish yellow color. Then another layer for the crisp highlights. Set to normal mode with 85% opacity with white color.
Hope that helps. :)
