So late last night at the tail end of my weekend, I get the urge to create an image of one of my characters, Lekheelay. She is one of my Primordials, a race of gifted shapeshifters whose natural state is formless and fluid. When she chooses to assume a solid state, this is how she often appears. Sometimes there are little variations here and there, like dragon/butterfly wings one day, antlers instead of horns, hooves instead of footpaws, a thicker, fleshier tail, herm instead of female, etc. Though primordials have no true gender, she self identifies as female and will often be seen in a female or hermaphrodite form. She is kind, caring, and generous, very soft-hearted, and highly sensual. She adores philosophy and is extremely spiritual, so much so that it bleeds into everything that she does. Her lifestyle is one of decadent simplicity. She reveres life, nature, goodness, and all the finer things in life: good food, fine drink, beautiful song, intelligent conversation, lovemaking, sensuality, magic, and the arts.

Alas, I cannot take full credit for this image as it is a derivative work. I took four images, mashed them together, then used the mashup as a pattern for tracing. After tracing, the mashup was discarded, and the resulting image was tweaked, inked and then flat colored. I may add shading or make adjustments later, but for now I'm pretty happy with the results. It certainly offers one a better mental image of my character, if nothing else.
