Thanks! I've always liked golden autumn light. I just wish I would've had more time to draw the leaves more carefully. The colours are a bit hasty. =)

Yeah, it's my surname. It's not a very typical Finnish name. There's only a handful of us Hypéns. ^_^

Great art as usually. But my deeper look into it what your art always get from me. Found that there is no lights on the right ear. And also the shadow is missing from that part of the hair. Or not ment to be there by some other reasons. But the background line work colors and Clara is kicks ass as usual.

Thanks, dear! You're right about the ear. Now that I look at the foliage and the other details I must admit that I didn't do a very accurate colouring job. I've been quite busy of late and I'm afraid it shows. ^^;;

i understand you have been busy, but i hope you don´t mind it all to much. you certainly did justice as been told and i really can´t put more meaning in the words, take your time, its worth the wait. you do a charming work, no reason to mind much on flawls "history hurt. do you learn from it to get less hurt or do you wanna get another bruise or bump?" *strokes your back smiling* as you were =3

I don't really mind being busy. I'm a busybee. I wouldn't get anything done if I didn't set myself some goals... And the good thing about drawing much is that I get a lot of practise.

If you are willing to pay me in advance, that would be nice of you, but it's not necessary since I do trust you and all in all think very highly of you. For me it's mostly a matter of bookkeeping - I priorize my things according to who has paid me in order to avoid my commissioners getting frustrated. When money becomes involved I feel like things suddenly turn into serious business. ^^

I think melancholy images are often prettier than happy ones. It's strange how sadness seems more realistic and emotional than happiness. Or maybe it's just me. I like melancholy music as well. :3

You may have right about this. Happyness is too much in the customized average. melancoly and sadness express something else. Even sadness aren't the same in each people. Some of it lighter, some of it simply strong.

I often just pick a lot of colours and then smudge them all together with Painter. That program can make even the most impossible colour combinations blend nicely. =)

*hugs* Thank you! To be honest I don't think about the colours too much... I think that if I went to an art school I'd probably get scolded for using colours the way I do. But who cares if the palette lacks finesse? Drawing is about having fun. =)

When I drew the lineart I thought it would be better to leave her standing on the back... The realms of the living and the deceased might overlap, but I didn't want her to stand too close. Only afterwards I realized that according to Shinigami-Whistle's description I should've drawn her closer. u_u

Ah, computers. We can't live with them and yet we can't live without them. I wish you good luck with your job! I'll read your newest stories as soon as I can. Hopefully after my current projects I'll have more time for myself... I think I may have to close my commish shop for some time. For some reason pics have been selling like hot cakes and I could use a little breather. =)
