I am descended from dragons... so I am sort of like a chimpanzee to your Human, although I dislike the analogy. I'm actually much closer to a dragon, because if I wanted to, I could breed with a female. I don't, but it would be possible... The hybrid is called a "Sarnak," and it's a fairly ugly, wingless creature.
Yes, EverQuest II has Sarnaks as a playable race. Many dragon people often fancy playing these creatures, for they are at least half dragon, and have quite a dragony look to their face and torso, if not tail. They just are quite anthro... no wings. But they are quite spiky, spiny, claws and talons everywhere... without looking too birdlike although they do have something of a beak rather than a maw, muzzle, or mouth.
