Since there was someone that wanted to see what they really looked like....
plus, I was really impressed how well I was able to get the things to light up in my bathroom with a left-over sheet... and for the life of me I have NO idea what it came from now.
Taken, as usual, with my trusty Canon 30D in RAW format:
Lens: EF 28 - 90 f4-5.6
Focal lengths: between 70 - 90 mm
ISOs: 100 & 200
Shutter Speeds: 1/200 - 1/125 - 1/80
Apertures: f 4.5 - 5.0 - 5.6 - 10 - 13 - 16
Flash: External TTL (Canon SpeedLite 430EX - head rotated many ways incl 180 deg)
(Plus 3 x 100w Halogen bulbs over vanity sinks - diffused and ceiling reflected)
Location: On My Bathroom Floor.
Imported with: UFRaw Photo Loader v0.10 (No, that's right - Zero-Point-Ten)

Not too bad, I'd say. (And for the person who was interested... Yes, they are a size 7 (or so the sticker says... though Fuj said they were a might snug), they ARE intended to be worn with heavy / athletic socks to give more cushion... and they sound frackin' phenomenal on hard surfaces (concrete).
(Oh, right... marked "mature" only so that non-members can't see it.. you know, like family that doesn't need to know yet.)

It's a little odd.... Yes, it's LIKE having heels on, due to foot placement... but due to the lip on the back of the horse shoe, it's kinda like a very oversized platform-wedge... IF I remember how she described it. Fuj was able to navigate and get comfortable in them VERY quickly - I don;t expect they were that terribly difficult to manage.
Effectively, yes... but once Fujin found her stride... err... No pun intended, she said the weirdest part for her was the added weight of the metal shoes / hoof toe.... and being five-foot-nuthin', she wasn't prone to wearing heels much. Usually flats or up to MAYBE 3 inch for work .
Lighting wise, I WAS thinking about getting a halogen clip-on work light to add fill... but when I saw a couple test shorts with the flash pointed over my right shoulder (into the corner where the hair sink is), it figured why bother. And y'r right - KISS Rules!
And there's nothing wrong with getting them the proper size for ponyboys too... just... have to do the size conversion over twice, I suppose.

In all this time, I've never come across a site that sold other animal shoes like these - matter of fact these are the BEST designed Equine Feet we'd ever seen. (There was at least one company that makes a different variant that I simply don't like.. but what do I know. Right?)

I'd love to try and wear them, but my ankles just can't stretch-flex to that degree and still let me stand. I've got one murderously painful pair of 4 inch ghetto-bitch heels, and that's the best I can do.
I'd love some of those fetishy ballet boots for the same reason, but can't wear those either.
