[Adopted] Clyde reference! - By EvilLabRat
my second adoptable baby from
EvilLabRat
he was adopted about the same time as Shilo, actually.
Where shilo is incredibly naive and productive, looking to channel all energies into accomplishing something, and it takes a mighty blow to crush her spirits. Lying, deceit, jealousy, anger, are all things that do put pressure on her moods, but she is always looking to bounce upward.
Clyde is a fickle jerk, and Francis' (
thejackaolf 's chimera) brother. Clyde has a tendency to fail in most everything he does. Throughout his life he has been suppressed by problem after problem after problem. Attempting to succeed has always lead to disaster or more complications on other's behalf, most usually letting Clyde down. He would always channel his frustrations through to his younger brother as his only outlet of stability, punishing the only person in his life that remained with him.
When Clyde met Shilo at one of the worst turning points in his life, when his previous tamer abandoned him and left him to die, she brought an unusually stern rebuke of positivity. Though misguided, he tries his best to emulate the impression of warmheartedness through a pair of nihilistic goggles- that if he invests no effort beyond the mundane, he will not be let down. This makes him come off as more aloof and flighty, although he has let off his younger brother, especially after his tamer adopted Clyde out of the kindness of her heart.
