Here was a tail commission where the commissioner specified exactly what pattern of colors they wanted on the scales. So when I say that honestly I think this was the most beautiful pattern I've done so far, you can know that I'm not being self-aggrandizing.

Materials were blackened steel background with a standard stainless steel underbelly (which is out of sight here), then a pattern of orange, red and brown anodized aluminum scales down the spine. This one also has a lobster clip at the tip of the tail to allow things to be attached to it. (I highly recommend this feature. Whenever I'm at a party or something I'll always end up attaching a glowstick to the tip with this clip.)

Oh, and the belt is also something that I made, but the tail does not come with a belt. It attaches with belt loops to your belt.
