This scythe design has been in development hell for an entire year, which is why no one even knows Fenrir has a weapon, much less what it is. I had literally the hardest damn time designing this weapon, not because I couldn't figure out how to draw a good scythe, but because it's supposed to be able to cycle between a Staff, a Scythe and a Halberd.

Canonically, he chose a scythe because of the fighting and hunting prowess of Praying Mantis', as they're scythe like claws are very powerful and the Mantis is a very successful hunter.
