well I finaly got the last piece I needed for my lade and thats the lightd
the first image is my blade mold and materials , I used clear laminate sheets to build the shape.
The lights are a 6 foot length of 12 blue leds powered by 3 double A batteries.
the second pic is about halfway through construction. I was worried because the lights are only rated for indoor use and I didn't know if the hot glue would damage them
and the final pic is me running alight test
I used over 50 regular glue sticks and 21 long glue sticks
It's prettey much all done cept I'm going to do alittle touching up on the sides

Hmm well slight update on the tippy plan
I was poking around looking for a drill bit, when I came across an old dremmel tool with a carving tool in its socket. now the tool is in too tight and I can't get it out but the dremmel still works. The little thing scares the crap out of me it's atleast 30 or 40 years old. It's got no safety features, and is basiicly a hige powered moter that you hold in the palm of your hand. but It should do for grinding out the space I need
