When I found a isolated vocal track for the song I immediately wanted to make some sort of cover, sooooo here is the finished work!
The vocals has been pitched down 1 semitone to accommodate the tuning on my guitar ^^
ENJOY..dress classy, dance cheesy!!

Things are going well! This site still isn't in my routine, so I go long periods of time without logging in. haha! I've been in a rut with recording and this particular song got my into wanting to do my own cover. (sans any kind of fast lead work since I suck at that kind of thing.)
I'm still oh so very envious of your tone and playing. Out of curiosity, which parts are Metal Machine and which parts are Metal Foundry? I have them both, but I tend to use just Metal Machine.

Ah I see, hope to hear some stuff from you soon! ^^
^^ Its just experimenting around with diff, plugins, settings and such, also watching lots of youtube vids about mixing and eq'ing drums and such.
The bass drum and toms are from Metal Machine (as the TAMA bubinga kits are my fav drums in the world!), the rest is from metal foundry (as I'm not a sucker for the Zildjian cymbals from MM) aside from one stack cymbal which I liked. :3

I've been trying to go more hardware and less software and have just started getting acceptable results. (miking up physical amps and the like) I've spent a fortune in 2013 alone trying to get a respectable amount of tone shaping hardware.
Anyway, do you have any recommendations for drum mixing/mastering tutorials? I can never manage to get a nice powerful sound out of them, and am always looking to improve.

Ahh thats awsome! Although miking up a physical amp is the way to get the most natural sound, I find it a lil too impractical in my current living standards hehe.
Uhh... if you search "how to eq drums" and check out the top 3 results from "drumlessonscom", will give you good pointers to getting a good sound ^^
Since superior drummer is basically like having a miked up kit into a mixer, you can treat it as the "real deal" and do whatever is done on the real thing as well.
Also compression on the master bus of the drums helps A LOT! :3
