The link in there isn't active anymore, so I'll give a quick explanation.
I've been a player of EVE-Online off and on for almost 6 years now. About a year into playing the game, I joined Veto Corp, an amazing group of people whose one goal in the game was to have a blast by being the absolute best at Low Sec piracy they could be.
I had some of my greatest times in game with these guys, and even though I don't play EVE quite as much anymore, I still consider them family. I still talk to many members of the corp on a regular basis.
A few months ago, the leader was offered a position working at CCP, the company that makes EVE. As a result, the corp needed to close down, as he could no longer run it and use his original character.
The corp, in name, may be gone, but the family remains.
This is a tribute to the members of Veto, and to EVE Online. I salute each and every one of them.

I have been in lowsec only twice. Both times my autopilot took me there by accident and you can probably guess the consequences. I lost both of my destroyers that way. Yeah, I was new to the game back then :P
Although I have a dim memory of flying through a bunch of lowsecs with my cover-ops frigate, but that might have been just a dream.

The community is still around, but not many playing EVE and everyone is kinda doing their own thing. That said though, definitely agree, it meant a lot to me and it was great to get this art to remember it by.
I also got a huge print of this to hang on my wall now, picked it up from the artist at MFF today. :)
