This is the second in the icon series. This is Olivia Campatello, who is Jessica and Carla's main employer. She is part of a secret society that has tracked, catalogued and when necessary suppress paranormal beings from the general public knowledge. Olivia holds the title of sworn protector, one who has entered into a compact with upstairs, heaven, to provide guidance and when necessary raw force to keep paranormal from running amuck. The sword she is holding is family relic from the late 13th century and is a potent talisman/ weapon against the supernatural. Olivia herself is rather powerful being capable of wielding quite a bit of power.
I specifically modelled this piece off of various religious piece from late Baroque and early Rococo periods. I'm rather pleased with background and chainmail and plate armor worked out fairly well. The armor is styled after late medieval italian-style armor. Once again the medium is primarily color pencil, with some gouche, marker and technical pen detail.
