Hello, ____________, General Manager of the ________ ________,
My name is Kevin Reynalt (Beagle) and I'm an agent representing professional athlete and 9-year FBA veteran Johann Beller (Schnauzer, F).
Hopefully you're already familiar with my client from his outstanding record with the league. Since he was selected in the 2nd round of the 2003 FBA Draft (41st overall) by the Springfield Fusion, Beller has been a tireless and dependable forward, playing on the benches of many teams including the Tucson Demons, the Santa Cruz Clefs, and most recently the Stanislaus Thrust. A natural at the power forward position, he has used his extraordinary strength and exceptionally large paws to earn impressive defensive stats despite his average of only 4.7 minutes per game.
If the name Beller sounds familiar, you might be a fan of international sports! The son of renowned rugby player Heinrich Beller, Johann comes from a long line of gifted athletes out of Bavaria. While his father played in Germany's national furry rugby team, his brother, Mathias Beller, is known to American furry sports fans for his participation in furry arena football. And his sister Schauna Beller is the lead trainer of the recently relocated Las Vegas Wildcards. Sports are in the Beller blood, and it's from this heritage that Johann has one of the best work ethics you'll see in the FBA today.
While his 285 pound weight may seem excessive for basketball, I can assure you that my client has passed every physical and has no more lingering issues from his 2010 footpaw injury. To support this, he only missed one game in the 2011-2012 season. And all of that weight is solid muscle! He lifted the 185 bench 27 times during the 2003 combine, and today can still bench a 380 pound bar. His arms are not especially long, but standing 6' 10" without shoes, he is able to defend against most players near the basket and has delivered powerful swats time and again with his enormous hands.
Offensively, my client is a good set up shooter, with his best shots 6-7 feet from the basket. His personal record is 16 points in a game, and he has tirelessly worked on improving his free throw percentage this off season.
Which is why I'm coming to you with this message. Beller was slated to play for the newly relocated San Jose Thrust, but because of a miscommunication with the team's new assistant coach during draft night, the team had a 16 player roster. Unfortunately, my client had the cheapest contract at the time and was bought out.
So if you are looking to fill your team's roster with an experienced, dependable, and hard-working defensive power forward, I have just the player you need in Johann Beller.
I am available to discuss contract terms at any time.

P.S. My client requires a contractual release from off-season training duties for the last week of September and the first week of October so he can attend Oktoberfest.
A stunning FBA commission from one of my very favorite artists-- and one of the FBA's biggest supporters--

Half of that! She and
asterionblazing teamed up on that pic. Together they support the
rosenthal account.

I confess I'm not up on the lingo, but this submission is about Johann's agent doing his level best to get his boy a good job with the ______________ ____________.
Seeing how shit really gets done can, of course, be known as "making the sausage", a metaphor based on the rather unpleasant culinary industry of packing various ground-up meats into cases made from cow intestines.
I just used "free agency" because I didn't know what else to call the status of a released player who only got the boot because he was the more affordable sacrifice.

Thanks, Frosty! Hey, what schnauzer would ever miss Oktoberfest? :)
I didn't mention it clearly in my write up, but one of the funny things about Johann is that he's supposed to be ridiculously Bavarian. Like, wears Lederhosen off court, loves Leberkäse and Weißwurst, listens to oom-pah music, the works. So of course, Oktoberfest is a must-attend! FBA career or not!

I've always loved how the FBA posts have a good mix of stories of superstars and their glories (and defeats ) as well as up and comers and second stringers who may not be as good as the supers but they definitely step up to the challenge and put everything they have into their craft (and occasionally knock down a few pedestals on their way . )
