(i just wanted to draw this character, they looked fun xD coloring was surprisingly difficult however.)

First off, you really do not need to apologize for the fact it took a while to complete. (in response to your shout). I know it was just for a trade game and you have so much important work to do such as commissions and other pieces for people who came along long before the trade game did. So I completely understand that and I am amazed you decided to throw color on it since you could have easily left him as a sketch!
That said, you did an absolutely wondrous and gorgeous job on him and I completely love the work done. You made him beautiful where I was incapable of doing so and you even gave him a rather regal feel, something we had been trying to capture for such a long time but kept failing at doing so. Even though he is sitting on a tree stump and gently petting his snake-headed tail, you made him come across as powerful, strong, and confident that whoever is watching will not dare to mess with him. It kind of makes me think that someone decided to talk to him or ask him a riddle like the lore goes with the Sphinx, and he is holding his tail and caressing it as a sort of warning to the person if they answer incorrectly.
To be honest... I think I am going to write a little something just for this picture. It has inspired me a great deal and I would be honored if you would let me try to do so for such a beautiful piece.
Thank you so much for doing this for me as part of the trade game. I completely adore it and I am so happy you decided to give him a shot. Now I just need to save up some money so I can commission you for a piece of my 'sona and my boyfriend once we have his new form settled in. <3
