Meet Charlie, a kid with an unpleasant backstory... that doesn't excuse how much of an arrogant, obnoxious jerk he is to EVERYBODY he meets... luckily he's bout as effective as he is tall (and he's the same size as Andrew) most of the time.

Personality:
Arrogant, self-centered, rude, aggressive, and insensitive to other peoples feelings… also self-loathing, jaded, and full of emotional hang-ups and issues to the point of being a potential test case for any psychologist. Charlie is suffering from not just an inferiority complex, a napoleon complex, anti-social disorder, but also a deep-rooted desire to prove himself. He has no friends and can't bring himself to care or trust anyone so he seeks to bully and intimidate them into doing what he wants. On the flip side he hates himself deeply, thinks he's weak, and will occasionally breakdown and curl up into a little mess of self-loathing and tears. He will never let anybody see this though and will do anything, I mean ANYTHING to get his way and look cool & tough to people… unfortunately he lacks forethought and any skills at planning so his attempts with almost always backfire on him.

History:
Born the second and last son of an infernape father and a magmar mother, who worked for the pro-leagues as a commentator and referee respectively, Charlie was left on his own under the care of his 8 years older brother William and both boys had everything their parents's large salaries could provide. The two were knuckleheads of a kind, both cheerful, good-natured, and dense pranksters who cared about each other deeply… and everybody else not so much. Either way their were close as… well… brothers and didn't have a care or worry in the world other than how to avoid getting in trouble over whatever their latest prank or stupid stunt happened to be.

That all changed when, at age 14, William finally evolved into a magmar. The sudden rush of power and hormones went straight to Williams head as he found himself going from "The short obnoxious kid with all that money" to the "Handsome jock with all that money" and becoming the big mon on campus pretty much overnight. This new power and "respect" went to William's head in the worst possible way. He began a destructive path of hedonism and self-worship involving violence and getting with as many girls as he possibly could. His originally precious little brother was completely forgotten if not out-right locked out of the house so William could be alone with his "Girlfriend of the Week" leaving poor Charlie completely alone and confused as to the sudden changes coming over the person he'd looked up to as his hero.

Without anyone to bring the hammer down on him at home (and being able to weasel out of any responsibility for his actions at school) William got progressively worse. Getting involved in a little gang of thugs and finding his pleasure in drugs and other illegal "amusements"… all the while using threats of and actual violence to keep Charlie, the one person who could rat him out, silent. Finally when he was 18 William and his gang started going out at night and beating vagrants and homeless people for fun… even causing the death or two of them. Charlie by now was broken and his admiration and respect for his brother, along with any innocence he'd had, had been crushed… so he finally worked up the guts to tell somebody with enough jurisdiction to do something about his brother. Charlie's last memories of William were when the police arrived and dragged his older brother kicking and screaming from the house… William is still in jail to this day.

By the time this had resolved Charlie had undergone a radical personality change from a mischievous and selfish but decently goodnatured kid to a jaded and angry little fire type who blamed evolution, other people, and himself for what had happened to his brother and swore to never let anything like that happen to him or let anybody hurt him like his brother did again. To this end he's molded himself into what he considers to be a "tough guy" (completely unintentionally becoming as big a jerk ass as his brother) and has sworn to NEVER evolve, keeping an everstone on him at all times. He also became very interested in pro-battling as way to become tougher so he would never be pushed around again.

Now he's finally arrived at the PCA where he plans on making the whole school see just how tough and strong he REALLY is… by any means necessary.

Fighting Style:
Charlie is big on the "Brute Force" approach… as in hit them and keep hitting them till they don't need to be hit anymore. He's decently strong and can hit hard with this both with his punches and special attacks but his lack of tactics and strategy would leave multiple openings for a smart or experienced fighter to take him apart… if he didn't fight like a dirty bastard that is. Charlie never actually "Breaks" the rules of the ring per-say… he just uses a lot of tricks and tactics most fighters consider unsporting like crotch shots, charlie horses, flames applied specifically to sensitive spots to distract and hurt an opponent, and numerous other dirty tricks. Charlie is more concerned with humiliating an opponent and winning than he is about playing fair (though not at the expense of being disqualified).

Miscellaneous Facts:

- Charlie has a large, jagged X shaped scar on his back where his brother held him down and used his claws on him as a way of deterring Charlie from squealing on him. Ever since then Charlie has HATED claws and blades, filing his own claws down to rounded nubs. He also hates for people to see his scar and will try to hide it as often as possible.

- Charlie, to his eternal shame, is incredibly cute with a toddler proportioned body that still has a bit of his baby fat on it and sparkly, innocent looking eyes… so he hides it with loose clothes, a jacket to make himself look bigger, and wears shades 24/7 to keep anyone from knowing about these since it RUINS his "Tough Guy" look.

- He has a deep, deep, deeeeeeep seated fear of needles after watching his brother use them so often to sate his drug habit. Just seeing one is enough to make him whimper and the thought of being stuck with one reduces him to a scared, crying little kid.

- Used to have a hobby of collection action figures and models but hasn't been able to do much with it since the incident with his brother… in fact he hasn't had much in the way of any hobbies other than his devotion to getting stronger and proving himself since what happened to his brother.
