Aweigh, not away. It means the anchor is weighing on the vessel, getting pulled up. It wouldn't make much sense to say 'we should go' then throw an anchor down.

This is adorbs.. but for a Chief Petty Officer the insignia should be gold on dress whites I think ^^ (I could be wrong but thats what I rememeber seeing)
OTHERWISE I LOVE this and she is 2 class ranks ahead of my hubby :3

I don't want to start a discussion on her art posting, but its actually the wrong uniform for a chief and the is only on a jacket (asked my hubby who is a submariner)
