'I was most certain that the new treats that Twilight made would have an inpact on Raritys ever growing size. However, they worked almost a tad too well. While Twilight and even her little dragon had layed on some new pudge, Rarity was expanding quite rapidly. Not even dresses that she made fitted her, once she finished them.
I was starting to ponder.. maybe it was time, that Rarity visited Rainbow Dash and Applejack.... there we could perhaps see, just how quick this marshmallow would fluff up.'
What would be the best solution?
1. Bring Rarity to my home, and start to feed her. It wouldn't matter if she knew then. We could bring in more force then, speeding up the process.
2. Bring Rarity to my home, but at first have a dinner with her. She can fill up on her own, unaware of what awaits her. Once she can not walk anymore, we can gladly reveal her fate.
(On a little note, I am not good at designing dresses, nor am I really proud of this picture. I hope to do better in the next one.)

Ah, our lovely Rarity is finally showing some clearly visible pudge
As for the choices, I like 2 the best. It's always fun when the victim doesn't know that they're being stuffed, even though I love force-feeding as well. Feeding her more slowly will also give time for more chub to build up, I believe ;3

This is too soon to say but I will be challenging when you convince Pinkie Pie to eat (but that will be another story after you have done Rarity)
And Fluttershy is easy get chubby. I said it too much, this is your story. Sorry
I would say do No.1 because I haven't seen you 'force' a pony to get full (not sure if that's how you did it with Rainbow Dash) plus doing No.2 would be simular to what you did to Applejack.

It looks like Rarity is getting very worried that her fat is getting in the way of her business. She might reject the offer of a dinner on the account of her weight or get supsicious about the dinner before she gets to an immobile state. I don't think it'll be easy to get her drunk like what happened with Applejack.
I go with choice 1. Let's not risk her worrying about herself even more than necessary.
Of course, this self-worry can play to your advantage. Pretend to make an offer on which you'll help her get better control of her weight by giving industry secrets that only the big-time chubby celebraties know.
If you still want to go with choice 2, then I recommend spiking the food just enough that the first course would fatten her to immobility. It's just to be on the safe side. Make the dinner plate filled with foods that are commonly associated with healthy diets to lure her into a false sense of security. By the time she finishes that salad, it'll be too late for her to escape.
Either way, make sure you force-feed her with her favorite treats. She's done so much to give a positive image to chubby ponies that I think she deserves a reward for that.
