Home Planet: Equinea, an Earth-like planet with six continents.


Biology: They stand an average of 6-7 feet tall, and the two antennae atop their heads (you only see one in the picture because it's a side view) contain extrasensory telepathic organs that are extensions of their brains, making telepathy their sixth sense. Much like humans, the color of an Equinean's skin will tell you which continent their ancestors came from:

Red: Hil'Ar, the Mountain Continent
Orange: Soresu, the Plains Continent
Yellow: Desuuran, the Desert Continent
Green: Man'Guko, the Jungle Continent
Blue: Arzul, a long archipalego of tropical islands
Purple: Ferize, the Polar Ice Cap

NOTE: The color of an Equinean's skin indicates only their bloodline, and nothing else. For example, don't walk up to a blue-skinned Equinean and say, "Hey, how are you enjoying those tropics?" (that's actually considered a racist comment in their culture, and it really annoys them).


Personality and Culture: The Equineans are avid space-farers with many colonies throughout the Milky Way and are generally very friendly towards visitors. Each family has their own starship that is passed down to the firstborn child on his/her 24th birthday. They also practice the life-debt tradition. If one's life is saved, they are to spend the remainder of their days in service to their rescuer.


Military: True to their space-faring culture, the Equineans boast one of the largest navies in the galaxy. Soldiers make great use of their telepathy in the field. A common saying throughout the intergalactic community is; "You can never sneak up on an Equinean soldier. He can think you coming a mile away!"
