I was doodling around before the Holidays, and this image of my favorite Mink Lady kind of fell out of my pencil. Now I have no idea why she'd be such a heavy set, mustilid centauroid, but I did recall the works of a nice, younger author who created a race of giant, six limbed badgers from a heavy gravity planet, and so I thought I'd play a bit with the concept. Note how the bed is sunk into the floor as the species likes to "Den" in burrows while they sleep, and at how the lamp is pretty robust in structure. After all, a creature who could dead lift 440 pounds with one arm, would more than likely pull the lamp out of the ceiling just switching it on and off.

The episode that led to me developing Strega's race was one on DS9 in which there were "Cardassial voles" eating the wiring in the station maintenance tunnels. These tunnels are an ergonomic nightmare for humans, so why not hire a race of natural quadrupeds (or hexapeds) to do the maintenance? If they are carnivorous they can eat the voles, too. Thus, Strega's race, based on "stretched" wolverines.
Strega is about the size of a Bengal tiger and she's a bit small for her species, but being low-slung they could work in a Jeffries tube without difficulty. Her size came about because I like wolverines, and specifically "giant wolverines" from 1st edition D&D, which were bigger than a man. Add in a middle set of legs and you get a 300-kilogram average adult size.
My icon is the way it is because I am primarily a vore artist and Strega really likes slurping up ringed tails. "Depth gauge tails" she calls them. I know that is creepy but there's only so much one can do about one's fetishes. 83

Oh! Yeah, I seem to recall your drawing several centauroid critters a while ago. If you're having troubles with the preportions let me know. I know you've got an overabundance in imagination, so coming up with the character's personality and traits is no problem for you. Believe me, drawing say a centauroid Ferret is a bigger challenge than drawing the old fashioned horse-human Centaurs of Greek Myths. The trick is to match the body build of the original critter match the creature's upright torso. Of course keeping that "Furry Slinky" look is essential to drawing a believable centaur ferret too.
I write too much.
I write too much.
Nonesense, Write as much as you want as often as you want. LOL. Email too now that its working correctly. <laughs>
But yeah, If you promise not to laugh to hard....I'll post the few I've inked so far. I think I only tried a ferretaur once. Went back to the genets. Genetaur and Civetaur sounded to cool to pass over. :P
I even found a penciled reply to that Star Trek style zap with the shiny decoy torpedo. Want to finish that one too. >:)
Ohh, cookies. *oh so wiped*
