Character reference is necessary but you don't need it until after the auction, and the standard does not have to be high. MS paint your way to victory!

Yes! This time unlike previous Puppy Loves, as we have a lead male and female, you can select your character's sexual orientation!
Each love interest, lead or secondary, will be associated with either the male or female protagonist.

Yup, it's fine- The bid rankings determine who gets first picks - I just ask people to post their desired role to speed things up on my end. But you're still the second highest bidder, so after the lead male role goes, any of the other roles will be up for grabs.

Forgive my ignorance here, as I don't know much about adoptables; but I can't see why you wouldn't be allowed to use one in Puppy Love. There's probably something that can be done.

Well if it is a character you're not allowed to resell then yes you wouldn't be allowed to let us use it (we will be selling the game after all). But perhaps you can ask permission from the person who owns the intellectual property. Otherwise - just come up with a simple character and doodle them on a napkin, it doesn't have to be amazing. ^^

Um... wow. Fourteen bids over $200. Subtract the two leads and that's twelve endings, nine of which are alternates... which given that some of the endings will be orientation selective this time is probably a good thing.

I wish Studio Knockout the best with this game and would be purchasing it no mater the outcome of this auction, but based on the escalation it looks to be interesting on the projected cast.

A quick question -- will the size of a bid influence the character's involvement in the story? As in, if i were to win with a large bid, would I be more involved as a major character, such as Theo in previous games?

Theo was one of the love interests of the previous games which is why he was so involved with the story hehe, he was a major character.

Can you tell me more about how the "love interest" roles work? I mean, do they each have a set role beforehand or is everything designed while the game is in production? I really want to emphasize Freyz's role as a bandit but at the same time I want to be sure he'll have plenty of screen time in the game. ._.

The basic idea is that of course we'll do our best to give you a good run for your money. ^w^ Love interests get more freedom in their role, they're not buttonholed into being a bandit or lawman, but could be either depending on what suits the character.

It's not so much the size of your bid as the role you get with it. The closer to a lead you get, the more screentime your character will see, at least that's how I think it goes. - Of course a bid high enough for secondary love interest eligibility basically means we should see plenty of Freyz anyway if you run with it, but even without that a bandit or lawman is still a primary-support role as far as I know. He should see a fair deal of screentime, if not as much as the lead characters. At least that's my prediction.
