As one or two of you out there may know, I've (despite being dragonkin) never felt much of a special affinity for wings. Having the inherent ability to fly is an awesome thing for sure... but to me, wings are just something that most western-style dragons tend to have, so I suppose my dragonself would have them too.

So here's a musing concept that I've had for a few years. What if I have no physical wings, but when the need arises I can spontaneously sprout big glowy ethereal wings and fly with those?

Seems to eat two gryphons with one swallow (and fits pretty well with my beliefs regarding real dragons).
