DRAWING EXAMPLES:

ARTIST'S CHOICE:
This is something new I'm trying out. For a little bit of acknowledged risk, it offers you a chance to get some high quality art for a very affordable price, and it allows me to better enjoy what I'm drawing.
I often have the most fun and create some of my best works when I'm given artistic freedom, so if you're up for anything or can't decide on anything specific to draw, this might be for you!
At a low flat cost, you get whatever I am inspired to draw based on your character and a brief personality description. It could be a sheet of head sketches. It could be a color sketch. It could be a painting. Or it could even be something experimental that I maybe haven't tried before.
The idea is that if you choose to trust me to come up with something, I'm going to do what I can to make you something neat for $20 per character.
That being said, I will not edit these drawings after they are done to suit them more to your liking. If you come back from this type of commission and try to tell me "This isn't what I wanted at all!", the response will be "Too bad."
You cannot specify a pose, setting, or type of drawing for this commission type. You CAN let me know if there are any situations you absolutely do NOT want your character to be in. No commissions of this type will be NSFW.
All I will need from you is a character or two (pictures or text are fine), and a brief personality description for each.
Please limit character personality descriptions to a few words or a couple sentences. I just would like to know the basics, not read a full story!
What you will receive:
Icons: By default you will receive a 300x300 image and a downsized 100x100 image for use as an icon.
Sketches: You will receive an image that is *around* a 500x500 size for busts, or a 1000x1000 size for full body.
Digital paintings: You will receive two versions of the artwork. A lower resolution (72 ppi) image that is *around* 500x500 for busts, or 1100x1100 for full body - meant for posting online. You will also receive a higher resolution (300 ppi) image that is *around* 1000x1000 for busts, or 3000x3000 for full body - meant for printing purposes.
Artist's Choice: A drawing from me worth at least $20 (per character) according to my listed commission prices.
**WIP UPDATES: Please let me know ahead of time if you want to see the progression of the drawing as I go. I do offer work-in-progress updates for Digital Paintings and Ref Sheets if asked to do so. However, unless you say so, I will only send you the final product when it's done. I can work faster that way, but I understand if you wish to see the progress to make sure I know what you're asking.
**All image sizes are approximate. Most images do not end up being square, and depending on the artwork's composition and how it gets cropped, it will likely be slightly smaller or larger than the listed sizes.
**If you wish to receive a SPECIFIC size or resolution of any drawing, and the size or resolution is not already included as listed above, you MUST let me know about it before I start drawing. If you ask me to draw something that is significantly larger than what I do by default, it may cost extra on top of the commission price.
**If you commission me for a sketch or painting and would like me to crop a 100x100 image out of it for use as an icon, I'm usually willing to do so as long as you ask.
**Things that might require additional fees are, but not limited to: particularly complicated concepts, very complicated markings, more than one set of wings/extra appendages, and multiple requests for edits. Basically - I don't often do this, but if I think something is going to cause a drawing to take more time than my usual price rate, I may ask for a few extra dollars.
The process of getting a commission from me:
If you don't have a reference sheet, or if you want to fill this out anyway to help me out, please use this form to describe your fursona or character(s):
Species:
Gender:
Age (can be generalized if you don't wish to specify):
Anthropomorphic or Feral:
Body Type/Build:
Fur/scales/body Color:
Any Markings:
Hair Style & Colour:
Eye Colour:
Clothing:
Accessories:
Personality:
Pose:
Mood/facial expression:
Anything else you think I should know:
Any reference pictures:
I LIKE TO DRAW: Canines, felines, dragons, quadrupeds, anthros, females, cute things, "dark" themes, emotional things, and landscapes.
I WILL NOT DRAW: Yiff or nudity - I just don't feel comfortable drawing it, sorry. (Unclothed anthros with fur covering any adult bits are fine though.) I prefer not to draw pregnant or diapered characters whether it's clean or not. I reserve the right to refuse any commission if I feel the need to do so.
PAYMENT: I accept PAYPAL ONLY. All prices are approximate and might be subject to change if I feel there's a need for it. I ask that payment be sent before a work is started. I will send you my Paypal info once you let me know you're interested and we've discussed what you want. You are expected to cover any transfer fees. Please include your FA username in the payment message so I can be sure it's from you.
REFUNDS: If for some reason a commission cannot be completed or needs to be cancelled, a full refund can be given to you at any point UNTIL you receive artwork from me. If a commission is cancelled after a work-in-progress image has been sent to you, a partial refund can be discussed. I have never, nor will I ever, take a commission that I cannot complete OR refund if the project falls through. I've been screwed by other artists before, and I never want that to happen to any of my customers.
WAITING AND COMMUNICATIONS:
Commission queue and progress will always be listed and constantly updated HERE. If my commission queue is full when you ask for a commission, you may be placed on a waiting list so that I can get other drawings cleared out first before I take your payment. I'll let you know if that's the case when I talk to you about your commission.
Keep in mind that larger projects (such as digital paintings) take me much longer to complete than smaller projects. And depending on what's going on in my life at any given time, I sometimes work slowly. Please be patient with me; I'm always willing to reply to any questions about progress if you want to check up on things.
Wait time averages to about a few weeks, but can be as quick as same-day or take up to a few months, depending on what else I have going on.
If you want a type of artwork that doesn't necessarily fall into one of the listed categories, feel free to still ask about it. I will often do other types of commissions, but the listed choices are my preferred "styles" to do on a regular basis.
I prefer to communicate about commissions via notes, so please be sure you check your FA messages regularly while expecting a commission from me.
REUPLOADING POLICY:
If you buy an artwork from me, or if I give the artwork specifically to you as a gift or trade, you're allowed to repost the artwork, as long as you give me credit for the art and link back to my FA page. It would be nice if you include a link to the original submission (in my gallery) as well, but I won't require it. You're also welcome to print the artwork for your own personal use.
Do not resell or post my artwork for a profit, or claim it as your own artwork, whether you commissioned it or not.
If you receive a high resolution version of an artwork as part of your commission, I do ask that you not post that version anywhere online. It is meant for personal use only. You'll always have a lower resolution version that you can post instead.

Zephyr, I'm wondering if it would be possible to ask to commission a reference sheet and, if yes, what we would work out for a price? I'm not sure who I'd like to get one from, but I do know I love your work and I'm up in the air still - if you're willing to do a reference sheet, I might do that or I may ask for a normal commission, I'm still a little on-the-fence... No pressure to do it, I'm only testing the waters around ^^"
I don't usually take ref sheet commissions anymore, which is why I don't have them listed on the guide, but I'm always willing to talk about it, and sometimes I will draw them anyway. Ref sheets are just kind of a pain in the butt to draw sometimes, so I'm a little picky about which ref sheet commissions I'd want to take on. :P
Typically they would be around the same range or maybe a little below the price range of my digital paintings though. I'd need to know more details before I can give a more specific price estimate.

Would you like to further discuss over note, or perhaps Skype? If not a reference sheet, I think I'd still like a digital painting. ^^" I've been looking for a while for an artist for my reference sheet - I have one that's lineart by Zambuka and coloured by a friend, and while I greatly appreciate it, I would like something a bit more... serious... for my character. If not, that's fine, I have some ideas for different kinds of work, so... If we could further discuss this, I would really appreciate it. :)
