WOOOO, I AM A GIMP MASTER NOW.
Not really :( Gimp is still kind of awkward for me to navigate and stuff, and I accidentally activate tools I don't know how to turn off and it's incredibly frustrating some times. But I was totally on a roll with this. I'd say about 80% was done in the Gimp so, hopefully I keep getting better at using it (mostly for texture brushes and layer settings and stuff.

Your use of color is always so vibrant. Everything from the bark on the tree (which I just spent a few minutes staring at) to the ripples of the water effects bring the piece together. Simply gorgeous.

The postures convey so much emotion, the bashful holy-shit-panther of a wet lynx and the expression on Xandria's face! The scene is so gorgeous too. My goodness, the water, tree, grass, and even detail of the background faded so amazingly. Wow, just wow. I mean, even the rocks leading into the water, the ground. Your coloring and work on this are just stunning, you set the mood so beautifully with so many elements.
