my fursona has light green irises and green sclera, but then i found someone else whose eyes follow the same color scheme...sigh

There will always be someone else using something similar.
If you make it public then it's likely it will inspire other people to use details they enjoy in yours.

When I started designing Flama I ran into that a lot. :s I keep my fursona private to avoid seeing someone else using a specific trait, the ones I show are just characters I don't mind sharing. :)

Bottom line is to have a character you love.

Haha, Cael does have some distinguishing features not readily noticeable in this particular picture though. Coyotes in general are kind of uncommon though. :3

Holy cow. It's almost impossible to say whether that's supposed to be "furry" art or realistic. Those green eyes are just mesmerizing...and that Mona Lisa-like hint of a smile. Absolutely gorgeous!

You've done absoulutly fantastic and amazing with this - Your work on the eyes, fur and just the headshot perspective are absoulutly fantastic! It is a perspective I often struggle on because I find it hard to imagine it yet alone get the right references for the perspective of a dragon head on. But back to your art- It is amazing and you did an amazing job with it, Very well done!

I know exactly what you mean about dragons. The reptilian/dragon characters I have to draw have been proving rather difficult. :s

For me I find reptilian characters including dragons a whole lot more difficult in general because most have scaled skins which I prefer over drawing fur to be honest, and thank you for the advice :3
