Was randomly fiddling with a scary Nightmare Moon because she is my FAVRIT. Put Twilight Sparkle in there just for the sake of comparison.
This is probably closest to how I used to draw MLP except it has changed over time and whatever.
So no, they are not in the MLPFIM style obviously. I used my dark powers to destroy them and I am ok with that. The fandom makes me throw up buckets of blood and bile as it is.
May or may not color for practice...

I am bitter. I severely hate the people who pretty much talk smack about all the other branches of MLP like wishing it didn't exist. Ugh. Brony is like a derogatory term to me I swear. Oh noes unpopular opinion.

^ This. This RIGHT here. I couldn't agree with you any more if I wanted to. I DO NOT take kindly to being called a brony. I am NOT a half-wit pedophile that thinks only FiM is the ONLY branch of the MLP universe. I've been a fan of the show since G1, and while I think FiM has much better story telling and better character development, I still love G1 and G2 for the nostalgic reasons. I grew up with Megan and Firefly. G3, from the one TV special I saw of it, was atrocious, though.

Lol! i was just going through a bunch of my G1 ponies yesterday.. sadly i remember having alot more.. hmm... must dig deeper in old toy chest.. oh wow! is that a.. rock? yes i played with rocks.. it has crystals growing in it..

I call myself a brony because that's the term I've come to associate with fans of the new series regardless of their feelings about the other gens.
I started liking MLP back when my sister was hooked on gen 1, so I have a lot of good memories relating to the old show.
However, I did go back and watch the gen 1 specials and movie and I gotta say, it felt like my brain was melting and the voices... oh god the VOICES...
Anyway, I've seen some brilliant art and fanfiction where they took the new gen setting and incorporated characters and villains from the older gens.
One of my favorites actually has Rainbow Dash from FiM meeting her gen 3 namesake. Epic lols were had.
I started liking MLP back when my sister was hooked on gen 1, so I have a lot of good memories relating to the old show.
