Story time!

In January 2012,  beastcub put up her Loftwing cosplay. I saw it and...needed it. So I decided to make it. 4 months/150 hours, $250, and many tears later, and I get this! I'm so darn proud of this thing. I love it like my first born child. ;_; There are still things I want to fix. I don't think he'll ever really be done, he keeps undergoing modifications before each convention.

So yes, before you ask, this was heavily inspired by  beastcub, which is why I will never enter it in any contest. A personal decision.

While I may enjoy making fursuits and suiting, I am not a furry. I don't have anything against them(and actually most of the furries I've met are really sweet), I just don't identify as a furry. I am a costume enthusiast above all else.

Basically, he has
3D following eyes
Hinged jaw
8ft wingspan (around 10ft if you count my back)
Vision through neck
Paper-mache head
Half Sculpey, half Model Magic claws (They kept breaking XD)
Faux fur purchased from Fabric Empire
Blood, sweat, and tears
