Before diving into building an updated Kaynus fursuit I wanted to put some time into making a new ref sheet for him. I will add a character description here at some point, maybe (when I come up with one, heh).
I feel like this really did a better job of bringing out the personality and character more than the first ref sheet, and it's also more in line with the more toony approach I aim to take with the new fursuit. I did simplify the markings some, tweaked the colors a tad, and removed a couple of colors that were never used from the original design.
Looking back at the original ref sheet from 3 years ago (almost to the day) I can definitely see where my drawing and tablet control skills have developed, though I could still use a good deal of practice with both. :P

I wish I could have offered something useful for feedback on the original mail, but... I know virtually nothing about suit building, other than offering suggestions on how to make the footpaws look good, heh. I do see some good refinement from the first one. I bet ya the build-time for v2.0 is going to be like 1/3 that of the first one!
Heh, I sure hope it takes a lot less time than the first! I'm starting to have serious doubts about getting any of it done before FWA (especially when every time I try to make some headway something else pops up), but it will be a good learning experience for trying out some new building techniques before working on the much more challenging Nullstrukt suit.
And pfft, you would have offered good advice or feedback whether or not you know anything about suit building. You do know about character design and proportions and such (and yes, definitely the feets). I remember you giving a lot of great feedback on the first ref sheet, after all. :)
