I like what you did with the red haze effect, making it look "bloody" without any actual blood. Now that I think about it, Celestia's tornwing probably wouldn't look as good with blood on it, so double-kudos to you. Her anatomy looks amzing as well, kinda like a stylized "Rankin/Bass" Last Unicorn feel to it.
