(grin) Yeah, I grew up with Siamese, and am familiar with both their meows and their grunts.

True story: I was at an SPCA display of cats being offered for adoption at a suburban Philly mall a decade or so back. One ordinary-looking kitty was placarded "Part Siamese".

Me: Funny, doesn't look part Siamese.

Kitty: GRONK!

Me: (chuckles) I stand corrected.

Were I not headed out of town for a week, I mighta had a new cat at that point... ;)
