Plywood PuzzlesI now make Puzzles!
A friend showed me that its okay to simply glue a print onto wood and then push it through my lasercutter.
And it works like a charm.
Currently limited to A4 sized puzzles with a wooden backing, but hopefully soon A3 will be an option again, to.
Larger sizes are also possible, but needing a print studio for the prints increases the costs
Parameters are:
Size: A6, A5, A4, and hopefully soon again A3
# of pieces: number of tiles from 2*2 to 30*30 or even more
Complexity: Size and shape of the interlocking parts, can be adjusted over two aspects: Larger interlocks are easier to fiddle out mechanical pairing, but reducing the the uninterrupted size of the surface means the image part is less recognizeable.
Image Type: preferrably PNG or JPEG; Darker images preferred as due to a laser doing the cutting, the cut lines are darkened.
Costs are equalized for the moment between USD and EUR:
A4 plywood, 3mm: 2,00
Laser Print: 0,50
Heavy paper: 1,00
High tension glue: 0,50
Lasercutting: 2,00
Puzzle cost: 6 € or 6 USD
Larger puzzles are possible, but the prints are currently a lot more costly as they have to be done by a print studio, and the A3 panel is more costly than two A4 units are.

Add shipping:
Inside EU: Untracked 4€, tracked 5,50€
USA: Tracked, 11 USD (consider ordering up to 5 Puzzles, shipping costs don't change)

I am not a visual artist! I do not paint myself, I suck at that.
For everything I do, I rely on existing templates.
I offer 3D printing, inkjet paper printing, etching, woodworks / carpentery, electronics design and repairs and various other manual crafts.
In detail...:
I do copper etches, woodcuts, marquetry, poker work, build chests and cabinets and desks, and many more things, based off existing and suitable templates.
I can do A4 color laserprints on a Kyocera, using various weights / thicknesses of paper.
I can do A3 inkjet prints on photopaper, too. (As of Dec 2022, the printer is in repairs)
Since 2019 I also can 3D print objects up to 33cm*33cm*40cm with a single material in PLA at a 0.1mm layer resolution and a 0.4mm nozzle. Printer is a Tronxy X5S.
Also, I can print in PLA or TPU on a Monoprice Mini V2 with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer height and of roughly 12cm * 12cm * 12cm size.
Resin prints are made on a Anycubic Photon Mono X.
Lasercuts are done with a size enlarged Sculpfun S9.
CNC engraving is done using a generic 3018 Pro CNC unit.
At the time of writing (Dec. 2022), I'm still familiarizing with the unit.
As I don't do it to earn money - Don't want to collide with any obnoxious rules about earning money - it's basically art trades, or just covering the material and shipping costs.
So much for the legalese.
