Terms of Service
Pricing and Payment
The price will be agreed upon before the commission is started and will be based on different factors, like complexity, number of characters, details.
The price is indicated in USD, and processed through Paypal.
Commissions must be paid up front and in full before work begins;
At the end of the commission, the client will be able to download the piece only if it has been paid in full.
If the commission has not be paid in due time, the commission will be considered canceled, and all work will be abandoned until payment has been made.
Production
The client will receive a preview of the piece as various stages of the commissions are reached. (The number and stages of the previews will vary depending on the nature of the commission).
• The client is responsible of providing either detailed visual references, or a detailed written description.
• The client has the right to request alterations and large-scale modifications during the sketch and line-art stages, after which, additional charges will be asked if further alterations are requested.
• The rate for additional alterations after these stages will be of $15 per hour of work on these modifications, unless otherwise agreed upon by the client and the artist.
Refunds
Refunds are available to the client if there is proof that the commission has been neglected for a period of time longer than what was initially agreed upon, before the completion of the final piece.
• Please note if the client is refunded they will not receive any part of the work previously commissioned.
• The client will also be refunded in full if the piece cannot be finished for whatever reason.
Ownership and Usage Rights
The property of the original design and the original production is created automatically when the work is first created, according to French intellectual Property Law, and the artist can use it in his personal gallery, be it in a professional or promotional manner.
• The client may display the finished piece in any personal gallery or website as long as watermark/copyright is still visible, or as long as proper credit is given.
• The finished art remains the intellectual property of the artist. The client cannot alter in anyway, sell or resell prints or reproductions of the piece without express consent from the artist.
Paying the invoice means the client has read and understood these terms of service, and accepts them.
