Commission Info- I am offering fully composed songs, mixed and mastered by myself, using high-end virtual instruments capable of imitating many real-world instruments.
- Most of the music I make falls within orchestral, fantasy, metal, and ambient genres, so these styles are generally safe to ask for.
- All payment will be done through PayPal Goods & Services or via invoice.
- The prices below assume a song to be 3 - 5 minutes long. If you want your song to be longer, it'll cost an additional €20 per extra minute.
- Symphonic and symphonic metal commissions, or otherwise commissions reaching €300 and over, may be paid in installments if you're unable to pay it all at once. Details can be discussed and agreed upon in private.
- When commissioning me, please have the following ready:
— The song type you would like to commission for
— The general theme/mood you would like for your song
— Any specific instruments you want included. If I don't have that particular instrument, I will let you know
— Reference music, if you have any
— Any info on the character or scene you want the music for, if applicable
- Once you have been given a slot:
— I will write a short piano sketch for your song. This won't detail any song structure or the like, it'll just give a rough idea of the sort of melodies and motifs for the song. Payment occurs only after the piano sketch is approved.
— WIPs are delivered as .mp3s and will come with approximately each minute of the song finished to ensure everything is progressing alright.
— If needed, I may go back after composition is finished to alter instrument performances and make them more life-like
— Changes based on the most recent WIP, or otherwise minor tweaks to the song, are free of charge. You may not, however, request significant changes to parts of the song that had already been finished and approved.
— Once mixing starts, no further changes can be made to the song's composition.
— Mixing and mastering WIPs will come with each major step finished. Changes may be subtle, so don't be surprised if it's hard to hear any differences.
— Once the song is finished, you will be given a .mp3 and a .wav file by default, along with any other file types you request. Lossy audio files (such as .mp3 and .aac) are free to share, but lossless audio files (like .wav and .flac) are for you alone. Think of them as your fullsize image.
- I reserve all commercial rights to the created song, and commissioning me for a song does not give you commercial rights to it.[/U] If you want to know what all this entails, or if you want a commercial license for yourself, read my Terms of Service here! |
