WTF is Weird for Work?My art uses a newly invented ratings system called Weird For Work (WFW). It creates a clearer separation between SFW content that's suitable to minors and ones that's unsuitable. The goal is to create a truly safe space for minors (SFW) while giving adults freedom of expression without stigma and without worry of kids seeing it (WFW)
Focusing on sexual content only, the ratings are defined as follows:
Safe For Work (SFW)
Non-Explicit content that includes no objectification whatsoever. It's accessible to minors.
Weird For Work (WFW)
Non-Explicit content that includes objectified theming or composition. Only adults can access it.
[b]Not Safe For Work (NSFW)b]
Any content that'd be considered explicit or pornographic. Only adults can access it.
Determining if content is SFW or NSFW, you use proof by contradiction: Can the theming and composition be replaced with a similar one without breaking or changing the contents "identity". If yes, it's SFW. If no, it's WFW.
WFW content must be rated at least "mature". I will enforce that ratings system on my art. If you disagree with it, then you need to prove it's SFW and give a concrete reason why you have to show it to a 13 year old (the youngest demographic that can see "general" content. |
